FLOWERS GROW BACK, EVEN AFTER THEY ARE STEPPED ON. SO, WILL I.
I just passed by and saw this quote without thinking as I was busy planning what my life could have been after the tragic event I have experienced.Today is summer, and I am on my way to church. This happens to be the day I was looking forward to when we had planned on getting married. It was supposed to be one lovely day for me and him. We arranged everything just to make this day perfect, but GOD indeed is in good timing.
The day I knew that he was having an affair was the day I picked a bouquet for our wedding. It was one lovely rose, but just like this flower, our love has thorns. I was devastated. I was alone.
Since that day, I have hated flowers. I have not seen them a long time before nor did I appreciate any of them, not until today. Not until I saw the CRAPE MYRTLE RED TONTO flower. This flower has shown me that I can bloom at the right time. The flower has shown me that I can bloom under any circumstances. Even if it’s so dry and all you can see is an end, this has brought me hope because it can survive under heat pressure.
I`ve got to learn that the CRAPE MYRTLE RED TONTO can thrive rainfall alone. I just got to compare myself, a tree that can only stand alone. How much more me as a human? I can freely do what I can do. It's just that this flower reminds me that even when rainfall or sorrow comes I can do better. The best reminder is that I don't need anyone to grow. I realized that even though he stepped on my dignity, I can still grow back and thrive on challenges by myself.
