As a result, that space-saving vertical shape and dense texture make the Skyrocket Juniper ideal as a privacy screen, hedge, windbreak, or striking accent in tight spaces.

• Water: Water regularly to establish a strong root system, with more frequent watering in extreme heat. Once mature, it is very drought-tolerant and needs only occasional water.
• Soil: Adaptable to most soils, sandy, rocky, or clay, as long as it drains well. However, it will not tolerate soggy, wet ground, which can cause root rot.
• Cold Hardiness Zone: 4–9.
• Pruning: Pruning is not required, since it holds its narrow form naturally. Shear annually only if you want to refine the shape, but avoid cutting hard into old wood.
